Enjoy an invigorating cardio workout in the comfort of your den or living room with the ProForm CrossWalk 2.0 XT treadmill. The CrossWalk 2.0 XT boasts a powerful 2.5-horsepower Mach motor that's engineered to maintain its strength for long-term use, making it perfect for either light or intense workouts. The oversized LCD display, meanwhile, tracks your speed, time, distance, calories, and pulse, giving you easy access to your workout feedback. Perhaps the most intriguing feature, however, is the CrossWalk 2.0 XT's pair of upper-body arms. Similar to the arms on an elliptical trainer, the built-in arms help you improve your total body conditioning by letting you integrate upper body challenges into a traditional cardio workout. The exercise arms are perfect for people who want to tone and sculpt a bit while also burning even more calories. The treadmill also includes three preset personal trainer workouts--aerobic, weight-loss, and performance--to help you meet your goals. Just choose your favorite workout and it will automatically adjust the speed and incline of the treadmill to maximize intensity. The speed, incline, and time of each workout is predetermined, so the only thing you have to worry about is pressing start. As an alternative, you can use the QuickSpeed and Power Incline controls to instantly adjust the speed from 1 to 10 miles per hour and the incline from 0 to 10 percent. And as with any good treadmill, the CrossWalk 2.0 XT is easy on the joints thanks to the ProSoft Cushioning system, which reduces impact on your knees by up to 15 percent compared to road running. Other features include EKG heart rate grips built into the handlebars; a CoolAire workout fan built into the console; a 16-by-50-inch running belt; and a 250-pound weight capacity. The treadmill carries a 10-year warranty on the frame, a five-year warranty on the motor, and a one-year warranty on parts and labor. About ProForm When most people hear the name ProForm, they automatically think of treadmills. That's because in its early days ProForm revolutionized the treadmill industry with its now-world-famous SpaceSaver foldaway design. ProForm continues its tradition of quality and innovation today, with cutting-edge advances in cushioning, electronics, and reliability. Fortunately, ProForm wasn't satisfied with treadmills, unveiling a complete line of exercise bikes, elliptical machines, weight benches, and more--all geared to providing the most effective workout available. I'd say I got a deal for that amount but would never pay double that for this model. It's very noisy which increases at higher speeds. There is no way this would be a good treadmill for running but it's suitable for the faster walking workouts I was looking for. I would buy a sturdier machine if I had to do it over again. It wasn't difficult to put together at all. 0 of 2 people found the following review helpful. By Christine i got this so i could work out when i came home from work.. it works for walking fast i do agree.. it was a beast for me to assemble but i did it by myself.. and also i hate putting things together.. so far so good except it started squeeking the moment i started it up.... 0 of 3 people found the following review helpful.
